About our diverse capabilities & solutions for clients

As videographer or crew, we shoot with the Sony HXR NX 3D1U; a 3D & 2D capable video recording camera that records 1080 NTC or PAL video. This camera can also shoot PAL video or NTSC in AVC HD format, which Sony calls NXCAM. Often the format is called AVCAM, AVCHD or AVC HD by all the makers, all shooting a H264 compression up to 27mbs per second. The camera is a full 1080 i & progressive camera as well. If you need a smaller compact camera to shoot 2D (non 3D video) or standard high definition video without 3D effect, this camera can be a usefully tool with our videographers or video crew as well. We also shoot with the Panasonic Z10000 3d & 2d camera with our partner compan . All 3 cameras shoot AVCHD format video.

 We have several cameras listed at this link. We also shoot NXCAM, AVC HD / AVCHD with our Sony NEX FS700U camera as well for the same AVCHD compressor as well. Our experience spans several other 3D video cameras in Sony, as well, Panasonic. You can also take the SHD SDI out of the NEX FS700U camera to record to QuickTime Pro Res, or XDCAM MXF formats as well if AVC HD is not your video preference.

This cameras smaller size allows it mounting in smaller places, on smaller camera stabilizers and on smaller steadicams without undue balancing or weight. Bring your 3D camera; if you provide them for operation, we're already well experienced. Aside from the HXR NX3D1U, we operated several Sony format 3D video cameras as well.

Why shoot 3D video?

You can shoot 3D and the camera also retains the 2D video information as well. The video has 2 video streams embedded so you can also choose the left or right lens footage enabling more composition choices. 3D video is gaining popularity in motion picture films, among other productions, including cable television featuring 3D content. Manufacturers are also selling many 3D televisions available to anyone as well.

We are 3D veterans shooting with many Sony and Canon models and also owning the Sony 3D 1U since it's introduction. Our Panasonic 3D model experience includes: HDC-SDT750, AG-3DP1, AG-3DA1 & A1U, HDC-Z10000 + a few others. Our Sony 3D camera operation experience includes the HXR NX3D1U (aka the HXRNX3D1U) and the PMWTD300 cameras. We are also well versed in the rules, terminology, aesthetic differences between 2D video and 3D video acquisition and the principles of each. Our technical expertise spans video production of all types and film production since 1990 professionally.

There are specific rules and techniques for shooting 3D video that we are well versed in; either as a videographer or providing a complete video crew so your footage will be in convergence. We have also studied and implemented writings of previous 3D video pioneers as well, well educated in the process. We can also recommend 3D software or plug ins to enable your post production without a hitch.
