About me, Nick Teti; I started out in cinematography and
as a television cameraman while attending college &
simultaneously working at a Denver television station known
as Channel 8. I was a young ambitious student working while
attending college full time, as well, interning later. I
also am proficient at still photography, (also providing
it professionally), as well learning motion picture production
techniques starting in college; from cinematography/camera
operation, film transfer, telecine, film editing, syncing
sound, lighting, direction, video editing among other production
skills. I learned these skills in tandem while in television
production at the Denver station; it was my entire focus.
After college graduation I shifted full time to a news market
as a photojournalist as an employee of Denver 2. I later
moved over the years as an employee for ABC, another Denver
television station, later to Tribune broadcasting and then
for all the national networks as a freelancer. This Continues

Peer Recognition Awards

I have won several awards to date for as a cameraman /
videographer & DP/director of photography. They include
4 Emmy, 1 Telly, 1 ASIFA, 1 Cine Golden Eagle, 1 Accolade,
among other festival & peer recognitions. As a director
of photography I can direct talent, camera crew resources,
lighting, sound technology or grip departments with my previous
and current background in these aspects. Using several camera
& support equipment resources for all types of productions
I'm also familiar with a wider inventory of production gear,
as well as, proficient. Our additional camera support gear
includes tripods, lighting, grip, sound equipment, monitors,
post production, several computer platforms, among other
gear commonly used in either still photography, video production,
film or television productions in varied message, as well

starting in the news market and cable television production markets,
I began freelancing as a cameraman, as well a production person
for video, film and television crews across Colorado. I have additional
skills past camera operation as well including sound mixing/recording,
as a gaffer, data manager, video editor among other related skills.
For production I have also been traveling to other states in countries
most of my career. As my camera work evolved from the the video
cameraman to film production and through the evolution of video
+ many film cameras, I kept learning & applying all the basics
of lighting, grip, sound mixing/recording and talent direction
and learned several camera makes as they evolved. From my first
student film back in 1989 to modern day 3p film cameras from Arri
& Aaton, I have enjoyed production for television spots, some
smaller scale features, and some documentary productions in film.
As a cinematographer I still occasionally shoot film for a spot,
tim elapse or whatever else, but most modern production has moved
to digital cinematography (often also called digital video production
or other related production terminology).
Most of my camera technology as a DP/DOP is into HD video cameras
for production now days but I still operate film cameras as well
for specific clients preferring specific film stock; although
most HD cameras used in feature or other feature or advertising
production have several looks exacting film gamma curves among
other looks. My applied experience & rental insurance to rent
higher end cinema cameras or operate provided resources is common,
while I add the support production equipment to complete your
production puzzle. As well I provide scalable camera crew resources
where you need in Colorado. Aside from the metro areas like Denver,
Boulder, Colorado
Springs & Fort Collins; I have covered the major Rocky Mountain
areas from Vail, Aspen, Summit County areas, down to Telluride
up to the top of Colorado; as well, border to border in the state.
I have worked many Colorado areas aside from the rural areas,
small towns, and Colorado's vast geographies. I have also traveled
as a cameraman providing Dp/DoP services to clients across the
globe. I am also well versed in Spanish, able to travel central
America to South America, to other Spanish speaking counties.
