Tide Detergent advertising storyboards
Try using Ai to create these storyboards, nope.You can see from frames 4 & 5 that these images below are not close to the description of “A single bottle of tide laundry detergent sitting next to folded clean striped soccer shirt on top of a 90’s model Maytag dryer.” Use of color is important because it adds much more detail, mood or theme than a pencil drawing or black and white illustration.
This concise storyboard art before these images was made with pencil and colored pencil to advertise the stain removing power of the detergent. Simple pencil has more control over gradation and detail; however, color was chosen to direct wardrobe and makeup for the TV commercial. Along with the cinematographer and director were assisted with ideas from these storyboard drawings for camera blocking.
