This is an example of a day in the life legal video, and these are often called settlement videos or sometimes a video documentation. This video depicts how a suggested elective back surgical procedure affected a patient’s quality of life. This video was used to resolve a medical malpractice lawsuit by a hiring attorney. These videos depict how a plaintiff and or their family manage a bad situation of catastrophic or irreversible injury that creates long term duress and inconvenience. The phrase ‘Day in the Life,” can more than a day or can be explained in over time pending how severe the victim’s injuries are, especially if they have challenges that are day to day.
Events that permanently impact that persons immediate and possibly extended family are demonstrated with a day in the life video.
A few examples negligence include:
- Injury caused by another persons actions, the results of the injury and it’s impact on the victim and family. Most often severe injuries.

Life after life video explained
These videos depict how a plaintiff (typically family of the deceased) problems are left over from a death caused by negligence. These videos demonstrate the inconveniences, problems and irreversible situations as a result of a family members death caused by someone else. These videos can demonstrate several situations, account witness testimony and show other catastrophic results, and the undue hardship of the plaintiffs that resulted from their loss.
The key difference that a Life after Life video shows the effects of someones death on the their living relatives. Where a day in the life shows the effects on living individuals and how other harm from others have & will affect the rest of their life. And possibly effect their families.
