Still Life & Course Work

Still life assignments are probably one assignment you as an artist will encounter in drawing or painting classes.  They are taught so students can learn about proportion and scale together.
They are done so an entire class can work on the same assignment together in a shared space or online. A shared space in person is a better method to become a better artist. You have an art teacher and peers to provide feedback.
