College; I began working in television in Denver at KTDV while studying video, film production and photography at CU Denver and Metro State in Denver. Before the completion of my multi major degree I worked at Comcast cable & television.
Afterwards I began working as a cameraman & producer for for Denver Cable Channel 8, Denver Channel 2. After several years as a Colorado news cameraman I began freelancing for many Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs metro & Colorado area freelance camera crews deciding freelance cameraman and camera crew member was my best fit.
Colorado Crew and beyond as well.. I started videotaping & filming for Colorado video crews and films crews I could work with, and national crews traveling, and camera crews in other countries than USA. I began working for national camera crews, networks, production companies and camera crews outside the US as routine as a cameraman, sound mixer, producer, and editor knowing that having all these skills makes my videotaped, recorded or filmed footage more valuable, creative, and increasing my production capabilities as well. After motion picture film,
I learned cameras like BetaCam SP, DVCAM, DV, Digital-S, Digital BetaCam,
Betacam SX, IMX, and DVCPRO. After these came HD a variety of camera makes
for my Denver and Colorado Springs camera crew. Sony pioneered HDCAM (Sony
700A, F900, F950, F900SR and others), and then later XDCAM HD (Blue Ray HD),
HDV like the Sony Z1U, then V1U and later XDCAM EX. In Colorado Springs, throughout
Denver, Colorado, and nationally my clients starting adopting HD, and my HD
cameraman & camera crew services. Panasonic at the same time jumped into
the HD game with Sony with the VariCam, and later the HDX400, and HDX900,
along with P2 HD with DVCPRO HD technology. Having client demand for Panasonic
HD in Denver and Colorado Springs, as well as, all over Colorado, I as a professional
HD cameraman and my camera crew had to adapt to these professional Panasonic
HD formats. After all, were EOE for Panasonic and Sony HD.
Then other HD cameras along; HDV, and HD manufacturers catching the attention of clients throughout Denver, Colorado Springs and outside Colorado. JVC HDV, Canon HDV, Thomson HD, Dalsa HD, and RED HD cameras began demanding clients across Colorado and Globally. Having the demand equal across Denver, Colorado Springs, The Denver Tech center, as well as, many other Colorado cities for competing Colorado cameramen and crews I learned these HD cameras to adapt to clients video and film production needs. DVCAM, and DV, and I have not limited my production experience to those clients
